The Social Purpose Professional series equips business managers, such as marketing, human resources, operations, finance, community investment, as well as corporate social responsibility and sustainability professionals with the tools to advance social purpose within their companies and with their senior leadership teams.

By participating in the Social Purpose Professional sessions, you will continue to develop  your understanding of the field and fine-tune the details that will enable your future success in becoming a Social Purpose practitioner. You will be provided with the knowledge, resources and tools to help your company advance along the Social Purpose Continuum for greater social impact.

 

Core Highlights

This program’s intensive learning series includes a mix of expert and peer-to-peer learning, collaboration, and hands-on work — designed to give you the essential tool kit to successfully kick-start or round out your social purpose knowledge. You will hear from local, leading business experts on social purpose and how they guided their companies through the sometimes murky waters of identifying and embedding a social purpose. You will learn from their journeys, accelerating your own as you apply what they know to be true. And you will be equipped with resources and research that will help you make the case for adopting social purpose, with a lens on the “how” and “with whom” questions.

The Social Purpose Professional Series includes three 5-hour sessions:

  • Session 1: What is a social purpose and why get one?
  • Session 2: Creating a company-wide social purpose movement.
  • Session 3: Uncovering your company’s ‘best fit’ social purpose.

Join us for Session 1 to explore social purpose or earn your Social Purpose Professional Certificate by completing all three sessions.
